Positive Pathways
Positive Pathways is a free after school program for 4th and 5th graders, providing tutoring for kids (25 max) struggling with learning or attention disorders. This program is supported by the Federated Church but not religious based. Read more here.

Cub Scouts
We love hosting the Cub Scouts for their pack meeting every Monday evenings. In February, each year, we host “Scout Sunday” to invite the Scouts, their parents and leadership to explain to us more about what they’ve been up to throughout the year.

Meals on Wheels
We regularly participate in the Meals on Wheels program in Weatherford– helping seniors who might not otherwise have a meal are delivered one. We take the lead on this program every June.

Food Pantry
Regularly, volunteers from the Federated Church assist at the Weatherford Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry. Each month we collect a particular kind of items such as beans, tomato sauce or pasta to take to the pantry. We also volunteer to sort food collected by the Weatherford USPS carriers which is donated to the Food Pantry, Catholic Church and Agape Clinic.

Christmas Caring and Sharing
In partnership with the Ministerial Alliance, we adopt families each Christmas time to help with Christmas presents. Sometimes members of our congregation even dress up as Santa to deliver!

Quilts for Shut-ins
Ladies of the Church make quilts for our members who are in assisted living centers or nursing homes. Our CWF group sometimes meets at these facilities in an effort to bring joy to those who might not have family to visit with them.

Denominational Giving
Throughout the year, we set a side a portion of our income at the church to help support the mission work of the United Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ and the Presbyterian USA mission work. We are also responsive to their special missions emphasis as world crisises hit and people need special assistance.
